With ELT
Mitsuru Igarashi, music producer back then, heard Mochida's cassette and asked her to be part of a new band called Every Little Thing along with Ichiro Ito and Igarashi himself.
When Every Little Thing debuted in 1996, Mochida began to suffer scenic panic, after watching herself in every magazine, TV channel, and radio station of Japan; she used to get sick after every concert, but later it got better after getting more confidence starting with their 4th studio album, 4 Force.
Several magazines have qualified her as a fashion icon because of her unique style. She has also promoted several products for Breeze, Toyota, Icebox, Morinaga and Nivea.
