Mother's Day
The Mother's Day holiday, in the United States, celebrates motherhood generally and the positive contributions of mothers to society. It falls on the second Sunday of each May. It is the result of a campaign by Anna Marie Jarvis, who, following the death of her mother on May 9, 1905, devoted her life to establishing Mother's Day as a national, and later an international, holiday.
Mother Day Gifts
Mother's Day is the occasion to honor the best creation of God on Earth, to shower her with all your love, care and warmth, to help those hands which helped us to overcome all the hiccups, to stand by the person who stood like a rock in our lean and mean days and to assure her that she really means the world to us. Although no material gift can match our love towards her still they do attach meaning and significance to the occasion in their own small way. Greeting cards, flowers, chocolates and other such gifts make the day more memorable and add joy to the occasion. They help us to make her feel extra special.
Mother's Day is the time to give back to our moms the love and care which she showered on us, all her life. This is the time to tell her that she is the most loving, kind-hearted, understanding and caring person in our lives. It's time to treat her like a queen and treat her with a royal buffet prepared by one's own hands, to give her promise-cards and coupons that she may use, when she needs your help the most. You may use our gift ideas to let your mother know that no one loves her more than her children and they know how important it is for her to be hugged and kissed like they were still kids.
